Psalm 127:3-5

Behold children are a gift of the LORD,
The fruit of the womb is a reward.
Like arrows in the hand of a mighty warrior, so are the children of one's youth.
How blessed are those whose quiver is full of them

Sisters

Anna and Patience are the same age difference as my brother and I, and I remember being more like a caregiver to my brother rather than a same age playmate. I loved being a little mommy to him. Anna is the same way. She loves dressing the baby, changing her diaper, and holding her as much as possible... She loves her so much!! Yesterday she held her while Patience slept and She read a book! It was such a precious moment. Anna will go away to college before Patience even reaches juniors high so I cherish these moments that they are building a bond! Priceless!!

Patience Joy

Our precious baby girl and fifth child arrived in the wee hours of Tuesday morning after a very short time of "official" labor!! She is incredibly alert, beautiful, quiet and peaceful. We are so grateful for her and know she was worth every minute of extra wait!!

There is nothing like the pain of labor but also NOTHING like the reward and euphoria at the end when you hold your tiny child whose face you had only imagined to that point! Unexplainable joy!
