Hawaiian day with Granna

Today at my Grannas nursing home they had a Hawaiian themed party.. Real hula dancers, a huge buffet of fresh tropical fruits and other yummy foods, and lots of precious elderly people who LOVE children.

It was a special day!

Movie night

We had a little impromptu movie night .... Didn't even start the movie until 9:30.... Good thing our kiddos don't have super early bedtimes! :)

No need to go private!

I'm so excited... While I was trying to figure out the way to make the blog private I stumbled across a way to make the location settings private without actually having to make the blog private with passwords and logins !!! I am so glad ... So much easier!

Our "staycation"

We had a little mini "staycation" last week while Jimmy was off for the week. We really had such a relaxing time just and we are refreshed for starting our fall activities Monday.

One of our favorite events of the week was a night at the Gaylord. We spent the day at their waterpark and that was such a blast. The kids loved it. I only got a few pics randomly when I would remember to take them.... So here those are, plus a few other ones from the week!

Private

I am keeping the blog open until early next week since we will be super busy for the next couple days and I don't have time to change all the settings.

New activity

We picked up a walker at our local Kid 2 Kid for Patience this week and she seems to do well in it. She will stay in it while we clean up the kitchen or the living areas and just quietly watch us. It also gives her a way to see more of what the big kids are doing which fascinates her! She is growing up WAY too fast.

Making my blog private...

Summer reading club

We just finished another summer reading club with our church library and had a fantastic time! Anna and Serene won for the most pages read in their age category so that made it even more exciting! At yesterday's end of summer pizza party their was a western theme and oh my how fun it was to dress up as cowboys! Another great summer, many many wonderful books read! Success!
